Excellent mattress...except for the fumes!
"Have owned this for one month and here's what I've found: Pros: A. It's genuinely firm and really supports your back and body well. B. It doesn't become compressed in one area. (Foam mattresses can be difficult to move around, or to get out of, because they create a depression that can last a long time), this one doesn't. It returns to its original shape very quickly. C. It's very light weight. This mattress is easy to move. It's no problem at all to lift up or to rotate. D. While it's firm for a foam mattress, it's not uncomfortable at all. You'll find your body is able to relax in minutes...i.e. NO PRESSURE POINTS CONS: A. It STINKS. The smell of formaldehyde (and other VOC's) is OVERWHELMING and does NOT dissipate, no matter how much you air it out. Even the showroom mattress had this issue and they're never covered! It smells like burning oil mixed with bleach and amonia. I had to rewrap the mattress in the plastic bad it came in, just to lay on it. *Note: that mattress ended up being returned two days later. The 2nd mattress they sent out didn't have such a profound toxic smell. After one month you can still smell it, but it's not overwhelming. B. There are no side handles on the mattress which can make it difficult to move, or to hold on to, especially if you have problems with your hands. SUMMARY: EXCELLENT back support. NO PRESSURE POINTS, even for side sleepers. Light weight."
