Comfort Level - Firm

Firm mattresses have a comfort scale rating from 1 to 2 and are specifically designed for back and stomach sleepers in search of proper spinal alignment. We generally do not recommend this comfort category for side sleepers. When lying on your side, a firm mattress does not provide enough comfort or pressure relief in areas like your shoulders and hips. There is variety within this category as a 1 and 2 do feel slightly different. Variation in coil type and foam type can make a mattress Firm or Extra Firm.
