Frequently Asked Questions
What are the advantages of buying a factory direct mattress?
Factory direct means you're purchasing a mattress from the same company that makes it. This eliminates the distribution and middle-man costs that other brands have to pass along to customers, resulting in the best possible price.
Where does Ortho Mattress make their beds?
Ortho Mattress proudly manufactures domestically at its Phoenix, AZ facility.
Does the number of coils indicate how supportive a mattress is?
Not necessarily. The gauge (thickness) of the coil's steel matters more than coil count — a thicker, stronger coil lasts longer and provides more support. Steel gauge is an inverse scale, so the lower the gauge number, the thicker and stronger the coil.
Do hybrid mattresses sleep hot?
No — hybrid mattresses actually have much better air circulation than an all-foam bed. Hot air can pass into the coil structure and dissipate far below the sleeping surface, like in the Signature Hybrid Firm.
Find Your Perfect Signature Mattress
From the classic support of the Classic Firm to the balanced feel of the Hybrid Firm, the Signature Collection puts doctor-preferred comfort within reach — all backed by a 100-night trial and 10-year warranty.
