You cannot wash the Cool Fiber pillow or its Cool Quilt cover. The zipper is not an easy refresh/washable cover; its purpose is to hide the law label, so it does not scratch your neck. There is no exact science for when you should replace your pillow. If you have a feather pillow, a simple stability test is to fold the pillow in half and see if it rebounds to its normal position. If you have a foam pillow, you should replace it every 18-36 months for continued support.
